b) Receiver Waveguide Assembly, Patch Cable Assembly No. 2-
This assembly consists of four individual cables 20 + 1 inches long. The in-
dividual cables shall be formed into one main assembly, leaving the indi-
vidual cables free at both ends to mate with system connectors 2A8J11 and
2A8P11; 2A8J15 and 2A8P15; 2A8J16 and 2A8P16; 2A8J28 and 2A8P28. All
connectors shall be wired with RG-195/U subminiature coaxial cable per
MIL-C-17/70.
(c) Receiver Waveguide Assembly, Patch Cable ASsembly No. 3 -
This assembly shall consist of three individual cables 16 1 inches long. The
individual cables shall be formed into one main assembly, leaving the indi-
vidual cables free at both ends to mate with system connectors 2A8J17 and
2A8P17; 2A8J18 and 2A8P18; 2A8J19 and 2A8P19. All connectors shall be
wired with MIL-W-16878 high-voltage wire.
(d) Transmitter Waveguide Assembly, Patch Cable Assembly - This
assembly shall consist of a cable 20 1 inch long.
The Cable Assembly shall
mate with system connectors 2A2J2 and 2A2P2. The connectors shall be
wired pin to pin with wire per MIL-W-16878. Pins H and B shall be shield tie-
points at each end of the cable.
3.4.1.6.8.5 Stalo Terminations.
Two electrical dummy loads shall be pro-
vided to terminate the outputs (fo and fo + 30) of the Radio Frequency Oscil-
later (Stale) O-1330C/APG-59, whenever the unit is operated in an extended
position or when either or both of the output ports are disconnected from their .
corresponding flex guide assemblies, The two terminations shall be identical
to each other and shall meet the following requirements:
(a) Frequency Range: 8.5 to 10.4 GHz
(b) Maximum VSWR: 1.20 over the frequency range
(c) Average Power to the Load 250 mW (max)
(d) Peak Power to the Load: -250 mW (max) .
(e) Mechanical Interface: The terminations shall have choke flanges for
1\2-inch by 1-inch W/C with suitable captive hardware. They shall attach to the
wave guide bandpass filter 3A1FL1 and/or the power monitor assembly 3A1Ml.
