MIL-T-81776C(AS)
3.4.1.1.1 Fixed-voltage power.  The fixed-voltage direct current (de)
power forms listed in Table III shall be provided.
All seven of the fixed-voltage dc power supplies shall
a.
contain short circuit protective circuitry which will
enable them to tolerate a load of zero ohms without
damage to themselves.  Upon removal of the short cir-
cuit, the supply shall regain nominal operating voltage
and tolerance.
All seven of the fixed-voltage dc power supplies shall
b.
have fast-reaction over-voltage protective circuitry
("crowbar") to prevent any possible damage to the module
under test (MUT) should the power supply fall in an over-
voltage manner.  The maximum reaction time shall be 10
microseconds (u sec).
3.4.1.1.2 Programmable-voltage power.  Direct current voltage, program-
mable in one-tenth volt steps from 0.0 to 79.9 volts as specified in the
following, shall be provided.
a.
Each of the four programmable - voltage supplies shall
deliver a full load current of 500 milliamperes (mA) at
voltages between 0.0 and 60.0 volts.
At output voltages between 60.1 and 79.9 volts, the output
b.
full load current requirement shall be derated linearly
from 500 to 150 mA.
Programmed values shall be accurate to +60 millivolts (mV)
c.
regardless of line, load, and temperature variations.
