NOTES
6.1 Intended use. The Module Test Station is intended for Intermediate
level use to functionally test, fault isolate, and verify the serviceability
of certain shop replaceable assemblies (SRAs) of the weapon replaceable
assemblies (WRAs) of the Weapon Control System (WCS) AN/AWG-9. In addition,
the MIS is intended to be used to functionally test the MATS TS-3479( )/
AWM-23(V), or the MITS TS-3561( )/AWM-23(V), when the MTS and the MATS, or
the MITS, are connected by the appropriate adapter (3.6.3.3 or 3.6.3.4) and
the cable set of MIL-C-81954(AS).
6.2 Ordering data.
Applicable.
6.3 Definitions.
Applicable.
In addition, the following shall apply.
6.3.15 Programmable counter/timer accuracy. The time base stability and
trigger error specified in 3.4.1.3.3 are defined as follows:
a.
Time base stability
(1) crystal aging rate-less than
3 parts in
per 24 hours
(2) Temperature stability -
2 parts in
per degree C
from -20 to +55 C.
(3) Line voltage stability - Better than + 1 part in 107 for
10% variation in line voltage.
b.
Trigger error - For any wave shape, trigger error is less than
-19-
