MIL-T-81785C(AS)
3.4.1 Test capabilities.  The RFTS shall provide and control the stimuli,
power forms, and the loads required to perform functional and diagnostic
testing of the WRAs listed in Table IV.  Test capabilities shall be as
specified in 3.4.1.1 through 3.4.1.9.
TABLE IV
WRAs MAINTAINED AT THE RF TEST STATION
3.4.1.1 Oscillator, Radio Frequency 0-1633( )/AWG-9.  The RFTS shall pro-
vide the capability for performing the following tests on the radio frequency
oscillator.
a.
Local oscillator output
(1) Phase lock.  Measure the transmitter oscillator/local
10 Hz
oscillator (TO/LO) offset frequency to within
of the nominal intermediate frequency (IF).
(2) Power.  Measure LO power output to an accuracy of
1.0
dB in the region of +6 dB referred to one milliwatt (dBm).
1
(3) Frequency.  Measure LO frequency to an accuracy of
kHz at X-band.
(4) Noise.  Measure the amplitude modulation (AM) noise to
3 dB in the range 100 to 140 dB below
an accuracy of
the carrier.
b.
Transmitter oscillator (TO) output
(1) Frequency.  Measure the TO frequency to an accuracy of
1 kHz at X-band.
(2) Power.  Measure the TO power output to an accuracy of
0.6 dB in the region of +17 dBm.
