5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
The requirements specified herein apply only to

direct purchases for direct shipment to the Government. All items specified herein shall be shipped
by carrier(s) specified by the Procuring Activity. If Government carriers are used, the Contractor
shall load and secure the items at the Contractor's plant.

purged and, if required, preserved prior to shipment. Containers, as required, shall be provided for
shipping fluids used in the trainer panels. These containers shall be of anti-corrosive material, and
shall be free of any materials which could cause contamination of fluids during shipment.

containers shall be marked as specified in 3.3.3.23. The trainer nomenclature shall be as specified in
the Detail Specification.
5.4 Delivery Date.
The delivery date shall be the date on which the complete trainers,
related items and services specified in the Detail Specification are inspected by representatives of
the Using Activity, QAR and accepted by the Procuring Activity for shipment to the designated
Government site.
