4.4 Environmental test conditions.  All tests shall
be performed under the prevailing environmental conditions
which shall be within the following limits:
Room ambient (30
degrees C)
a.
Temperature
Altitude
Normal ground
b.
Vibration
None
c.
d.
Humidity
Room ambient up to 90 percent
relative humidity.
4.5 Test location.  Inspection for the purpose of
acceptance shall be made at the contractor's plants and the
contractor's vendors'  plants.
4.6 Acceptance schedule.  The schedule of acceptance
activities is shown in Table II.  Upon completion of
Government acceptance, the ABTS shall be shipped in
accordance with the allocation instructions.  Minor changes
may be made in the schedule of acceptance activities as
informally agreed to by representatives of the Government
and the contractor without requiring changes to this
document.
4.7 Test procedures.  Acceptance tests shall be
performed in accordance with a test plan and test procedures
mutually agreeable to the procuring activity and the
supplier.  The test plan shall be prepared by the supplier.
MIL-T-18303 shall be used as a guide for preparation of test

approval of material during the course of manufacture shall
not be construed as a guarantee of the acceptance of the
finished product.
4.8 Rejection and retest.  Equipment which has been
rejected may be reworked or have parts replaced to correct
the defects and be resubmitted for acceptance.  Before
resubmitting,  full particulars concerning previous rejection
and the action taken to correct the defects found in the
original shall be furnished to the Government Inspector.
Units rejected after retest shall not be resubmitted without
the specific approval of the procuring activity.
