5.3.2 Industrial. Industrial marking shall be in accordance with the
requirements of MIL-STD-1188.
5.4 General.
5.4.1 Exterior containers. Exterior containers (see 5.2.1 and 5.2.2)
shall be of a minimum tare and cube consistent with the protection required
and shall contain equal quantities of identical stock numbered items to the
greatest extent practicable.
5.4.2 Packaging inspection. The inspection of these packaging
requirements shall be in accordance with 4.15.

6.1 Intended use. The TS-3531/ASM Data Link Controller Test Set is a
small portable flight-line test device used to perform preflight and periodic
performance evaluation of Data Link Controller P/N's 475AS600 and 475AS700.
The controller initiates certain data link commands, and proportional signals
for Guided Weapon Monitor-Control Sets AN/AWW-7A and AN/AWW-7D. The test set
is used in conjunction with Aircraft Control Test Set AN/ASM-184B(V)-1 to
provide an evaluation of the Aircraft interface for the Guided Weapons
Monitor-Control Sets AN/AWW-7A and AN/AWW-7D. The control group output
frequencies can be evaluated with the test set with the test result displayed
on a front panel mounted quality meter.
6.2 Ordering data.

(CDRL) the data requirements identified below shall be developed as specified
by an approved Data Item Description (DD Form 1664) and delivered in
