MILITARY SPECIFICATION
VALVE, THREE-POSITION, FOUR-WAY
HYDRAULIC, MANUAL
This specification is approved for use within the US Army Tank-Automotive Command,
Department of the Army, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of manually operated, three-position,
four-way, hydraulic directional control valves with an operating pressure of 3000 pounds per
square inch (psi) (see 6.1).
1.2 Classification. Valves shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2)
Type I
- Rated flow capacity: 6 gallons per minute (gpm).
Type II
- Rated flow capacity: 2 gpm.
