3.5.1.2 Maintainability.
3.5.1.2.1 Maximum time to repair (MAXTTR). The maximum time to repair for the FISTV
system, excluding the chassis and optics, shall be 0.7 hours. This time must include 90 percent
of all corrective maintenance actions (see 4.6.4.1).
3.5.1.2.2 Maintenance ratio (MR). The FISTV vehicle system shall have an MR in terms of
maintenance manhours (MMH) divided by operating hours that does not exceed the values stated
for the following categories of maintenance (see 4.6.4.1):

3.5.2 Automotive operation. The FISTV vehicle shall meet all the operational requirements
regarding reliability, durability and maintainability as specified in MIL-C-62310 for the
modified M113A2 chassis, except where otherwise specified herein (see 4.6.4.1).
3.5.3 Mission profile. The FISTV vehicle mission profile shall consist of two mission
profiles. A total of 54 miles (87 km) shall be accumulated on primary roadways at 18-25 miles
per hour (mph) [14.5 kilometers per hour (km/hr)] in nine mile (14.5 km) increments. This
profile shall consist of one operational scenario, 15 ranging scenarios and five designating
scenarios per segment with three segments per profile (see 4.6.4.2.1).
3.5.4 Speed. The FISTV vehicle shall sustain speeds of 32 mph (51 km/hr). The targeting
station shall be in the stowed position for norma1 travel. Head erect travel shall not exceed
50 m (164 ft) with the speed not to exceed 5 mph (8 km/hr) (see 4.6.4.3).
