AMENDMENT 1

MILITARY SPECIFICATION
VALVE, FUEL SHUT-OFF
This amendment forms a part of MIL-V-82443(OS) dated 10 May 1966,
and is approved for use within the Naval Sea Systems Commands
Department of the Navy and is available for use by all Departments
and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
Wherever appearing in the specification, delete "cycles per second" and
substitute "hertz", delete "cps" and substitute "Hz" and delete
"preproduction" and substitute "first article".

2.1, under "STANDARDS," delete "MS33586" and its title and substitute
"MIL-STD-889 Dissimilar Metals".

2.2, delete in its entirety and substitute:
"2.2 Other Government documents, drawings, and publications. The following
other Government documents, drawings, and publications form a part of this
document to the extent specified herein. Unless otherwise specified, the
issues are those cited in the solicitation.

(The Code of Federal Regulations is available from the Superintendent of
Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402. Orders
should specify "49 CFR 100-199 (latest revision)".)
"2.3 Order of precedence. In the event of a conflict between the text of
this specification and the references cited herein, the text of this document
takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable
laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained."
