MILITARY SPECIFICATION
VACUUM-AIR-NITROGEN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
This specification has been approved by the Naval
Ordnance Systems Command, Department of the Navy

SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification states the requirements for the procure-
ment of a Vacuum-Air-Nitrogen Distribution System, Naval Ordnance Systems
Command Drawing 1874091 (LD 620161), also referred to herein as the
"VAND System" or "system". The VAND System provides pneumatic testing
facilities for advance underseas weapons. It is also capable of control-
ling the nitrogen supply for those weapons which are to be filled with

an inert gas. The VAND System is of one type and one class.
