6.7.4 Microelectronic Integrated Circuits (MIC). An integral silicon
planar epitaxial structure that performs functions such as those of gates,
amplifiers, adders, hi-stable elements, etc.
6.7.5 WRA. Weapons Line Replacement assembly; an assembly which for
maintenance purposes is replaceable at the flight line or flight deck.
6.7.6 SRA. Shop Replaceable Assembly - a module for maintenance purposes
is replaceable in the line shop or intermediate level of maintenance.
6.7.7 Failure. Cessation of equipment operation or degradatioa of a
function beyond specified limits. Failure shall be considered either relevant
or nonrelevant in accordance with the following criteria:
a. Nonrelevant failures as defined below shall not be classified
as failures.
(1) Malfunctions caused by the operation of the equipment
outside the specified electrical, mechanical, or temperature limits.
(2) Malfunctions caused by the operation or malfunction of
equipment(s) external to the WRA.
(3) Malfunctions which are humanly induced through negligence,
accidental overstress, Improper connection, damage in handling, installation or
operation.
(4) Apparent malfunctions which result from programing errors.
(5) Malfunctions that have exhibited intermittent symptoms
which cannot be verified or cannot be confirmed by reoccurrence within 24
hours of fault-free operation.
b.
All failures not covered in (a) above shall be considered
relevant.
6.7.8 C A T Customer Acceptance Test.

6.7.9 FAT - Factory Acceptance Test.
