employed for 2 test cycles/day each for 56 days resulting in a total of 672
test cycles for each type of support system specified (see 1.2 and 6.2).
4.5.3.3 Failure criteria. Nonconformance to 3.10 shall constitute failure
of this test.
4.6 Inspection of packaging.
4.6.1 First article pack inscection.
4.6.1.1 Examination. The first article pack shall be examined for the
applicable defects in 4.6.2.3.1 and 4.6.2.3.2. The presence of one or more
defects shall be cause for rejecting the first article pack.
4.6.2 Quality conformance inspection of packaging.
4.6.2.1 Unit of product.
4.6.2.1.1 Camouflage support system assembly. For the purpose of
inspection onlY, a completed unitized load of camouflage support system
assemblies, that have been prepared for shipment, shall be considered an
assembly unit of product.
4.6.2.1.2 Camouflaqe support system individual component. For the purpose
of ispection only, a completed pack for a quantity of a single component,
that has been prepared for shipment, Shall be considered an individual
component unit of product for that component. A completed pack for a quantity
of any other single component that has been prepared for shipment, shall be
similarly considered.
4.6.2.2 Sampling. Sampling for examination shall be in acordance with
MIL-STD-105, table I and table II-A.
4.6.2.3 Examination. Samples selected in accordance with 4.6.2.2 shall be
examined for the applicable defects listed in 4.6.2.3.1 and 4.6.2.3.2. Accept
if zero defects are found and reject if one or more arefound. Special note:
Acceptance criteria for workmanship standards in packaging shall conform to
30.6 of the aappendix and as referenced herein.
4.6.2.3.1 Camouflage support system assembly. Camouflage support system
assemblies shall be examined for the following defects as specified for the
dif ferent levels of packaging:
