5. PACKAGING
5.1 Disassembly.  Each dispenser shall be disassembled to the
extent that economy in packing and shipping shall be obtained, in
accordance with MIL-D-63370(AR).
5.2 Preservation, packaging, packing, and marking.  The
dispensers, components and attachments shall be preserved, packaged,
packed and marked for shipment in  accordance with MIL-D-63370(AR).
5.3 Repair parts.  All items which are to be procured as repair
parts shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with their
applicable Special Packaging Instruction Sheet (SPI).

6.1 Intended use.  Dispensers covered by this specification are
intended for use by the armed forces in scattering both AT/AV and AP
mines simultaneously while being towed by a standard tracked or
wheeled cargo vehicle.
