|  5. PACKAGING
5 . 1 Packaging, packing, and marking. Packaging, packing and marking shall
b e in accordance with packaging data sheet P11732800. The level of protection
s h a l l be as specified in the procurement document.
6. NOTES
6 . 1 Intended use. The assembly is a part of the M21 Ballistic Computer
System.
6 . 2 Ordering data. Procurement documents should specify the following:
T i t l e , number and date of this specification.
a.
Q u a n t i t y required and delivery schedules.
b.
S p e c i a l tests and examination as required, the type of inspection

required and the activity responsible for testing and its facility.
Serialization requirements, if applicable.
d.
R e q u i r e m e n t s for first article sample, including data requirements

for certificates of conformance for materials.
A p p l i c a b l e packaging data sheet number.
f.
S e l e c t i o n of applicable levels of preservation, packaging and

packing.
A p p l i c a b l e stock number.

6.3 Previous revisions of MIL-S-48461B was for the US Army Armament
