TOP 2-2-614 Toxic and Hazard Test for Vehicles and other Equipment

available for reference from libraries. They are also distributed among technical groups and
using Federal Agencies.)
3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Commercial truck-tractor, half-cab. The commercial truck-tractor, half-cab will be a
vehicle which is the manufacturer's standard model with standard optional items conforming to
all requirements of the solicitation and has been manufactured on a production basis, and sold to
the public for at least one calendar year immediately preceding the date of issuance of this
solicitation. Unless otherwise specified in procurement documents, chassis items shall be as
represented and rated in the manufacturer's technical data, and mounted equipment shall be as
represented and rated in the equipment manufacturer's technical data. Technical data shall
consist of the specification and technical material furnished to authorized company
representatives for selection of vehicle models and components.
3.1.1 Special requirements. In addition to standard vehicle and components specified in 3.1,
vehicle shall be furnished with special equipment as specified herein.
3.1.1.1 Treatment, painting, marking, data plates and warranty notice.
3.1.1.1.1 Treatment and painting. Unless otherwise specified by the procuring activity for
the appropriate service (see 6.2), vehicles shall be treated and painted in accordance with
MIL-STD-193 for the Army.
