4.5.2 Visual examinations. Smoke curtains and blankets shall be visually examined for defects
listed in table I. The hem shall be inspected on both the face and the back side. Defects found
shall be counted regardless of their proximity to one another, except where two or more defects
represent a single local rendition on the hem, in which case only the most serious defect will be
counted. The sample size shall be in accordance with inspection Level S-3.
