Sync Indicator Deflection Tests
h.
Turn the mode selector on the controller to DG mode.
(1)
The sync indicator pointer on the controller must
become centered within 1/16 inch.
(2)
The dc voltage from connector 2J2-18 to 2J2-17 must
become 0 1Vdc.
i.
Set the latitude control on the controller to 90.00.
(1)
The sync indicator pointer on the controller must
remain centered within 1/16 inch.
(2)
The dc voltage from connector 2J2-18 to 2J2-17 must
become -1.833 0.050Vdc.
The heading compensation range
4.6.4.2 Heading Compensation Range -
shall be checked as follows:
a.
Set the controls on the controller and electronic control
amplifier as follows:
Mode switch to SLAVED
Latitude control to 0
Hemisphere switch to N
Compensation switch to OFF
b.
Set all compensation potentiometers on the electronic control
amplifier approximately at center position.
c.
Turn compensation switch on the electronic control amplifier
to the ON position.
