40.2.13 If any of the personnel conducting the test observes any abnormality that may
invalidate the velocity measurements, the circumstances shall be reported immediately through
appropriate supervisory channels and the test suspended until instructions are received from
proper authority.  If any result appears abnormal, eve though the possible cause cannot be
immediately assigned, the circumstances shall be reported immediately for investigation and
decision by proper supervisory authority.
50.0 RECORDING OF DATA
50.1 Results of both standard (reference) and test cartridges, should be recorded directly on
the test sheet form.
50.1.1 Standard (reference) cartridges: The individual velocities, average velocity and
extreme variation of the individual velocities.
50.1.2 Test Cartridges: The individual velocities, average velocity (not corrected), velocity
correction average velocity (corrected) extreme variation and standard deviation of the individual
velocities.
50.1.3 Number and type of case casualties.
50.2 The following test weapon data shall be recorded on the test sheets.
a. Receiver number.
b. Barrel number.
c. Total number of cartridges fired in barrel,
