Provide clip to hold the plug with the cable
doubled back on the tow bar for stowage.
Locate plug clip to minimize jack-knife
damage when truck and trailer maneuver with
cable stowed.
Connect trailer ends of SAE wire cable into
weatherproof covered, towbar mounted,
electrical connection box having nut and stud
type terminal block and having SAE J553
circuit brakers protecting all live trailer
circuits.
If furnished see 3.15, tap-in the military tow
vehicle's 24-volt, 12-way plug and cable
assembly wires (reduced to 12-volt) into this
terminal block so that the circuit breakers will
protect the 24-volt circuits the same they do the
commercial 12-volt commercial circuits.
