i. When railroad hump testing of the trailer is required to verify the tiedown attachments
and trailer assembly (see 4.6.2.8).
j. Disposition of the first article models, if required to be different than as specified, remain
as a model for all other production trailers (see 3.2).
k. Degree of preservation and packing required (see 5.1 and 5.2).
l. When strapping shall be other than as specified (see 5.1.1.4 and 5.2.1).
m. When a depreservation guide form, other than DA Form 2258, is required (see 5.4).
n. When and as specified the technical characteristies and specific details listed as follows
in the Technical Component ordering data list are required.
Technical Component Order Data List. The technical features shall be selected and required
to be furnished with each trailer chassis or shall not be needed.

Furnish optionally required features and components as specified,
including size XX in 1.2 (see 3.1.1 and specification sheets).

Furnish the size 9 military design trailer chassis with the optionally
required features and components as specified on specification sheet
MIL-C-52437/6 and as follows (see 3.1.2 and MIL-C-52437/6):
- Other than the Dash-l quarter elliptic trailing arm springs. Specify
payload and the spring dash No. on the leaf spring drawing
(Ref. D13212E3632).
- Specify when fenders are required to be furnished (not furnished
with cargo body installation).
- Specify when a front platform per drawings is needed.
- Specify when the rear commercial jack stands are required to be
furnished.
- Specify any other chassis characteristics required.

Furnish the size and quantity of running gear for flotation, as specified
(see 3.1.3 and specification sheets).

Load and hump the trailer chassis and its equipment payload (or at
GVWR) on a railroad car (See 3.6.2 and 4.6.2.8).

Provide the trailer chassis with its equipment payload capable of being
loaded and transported within C-130 or other aircraft (see 3.6.4).

Provide trailer chassis compatible with the vehicles specified in
addition to or in lieu of these cited [see 3.7.1 and 3.9 (k) and
specification sheets]. Specify vehicles.
Specify a slow-moving vehicle emblem on trailer chassis for use when
trailer is towed by off-road equipment.
