3.7 Stakes. The anchor stakes shall conform to the applicable drawings.
The color of the anchor stakes for class support systems shall be in
accordance with FED-STD-595, color no. 34079 and for class 2 color no. 37875.
3.8 Case. The case shall be as shown on the applicable drawings. The
color of the case shall be in accordance with FED-STD-595, color no. 34087 for
class 1, and color no. 37875 for class 2 support systems.
3.9 Treatment. The support poles, batten spreaders, and batten spreaders
adapter shall be treated during preparation with pigment to provide
coloration. Colors shall be in accordance with FED-STD-595, color no. 34079
for class 1 and color no. 37722 to 37875 for class 2 support systems.
3.10 Reliability. When specified (see 6.2), the reliability for completing
a mission of 672 test cycles shall be 0.94 when the camouflage screening
support system is tested as specified in 4.5.3.
3.11 Identification marking. The support assembly case shall be identified
in accordance wiht MIL-STD-130 as indicated on the drawings and labelled for a
"TWO SOLDIER CARRY" in accordance wiht MIL-STD-1472, 5.9.11.3.9.
3.12 Workmanship. The finished items shall be clean, free of burrs and
sharp edges, smoothly finished shall not be broken or malformed, and shall
conform to the standards specified in the appendix.
4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISION
4.1 Responsibility for inspection. unless otherwise specified in the
contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the perfor4mance
of alll inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise
specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or
any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection
requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The
