hose shall be loosely coiled and, it and the gun and the packaged multi-jet
spray unit (see 5.2.1.3) shall be packaged together in a fiberboard box conform-
ing to class domestic, style FOL, type CF, grade 175, SW of PPP-B-636, having
inside dimensions in inches of 10 by 2-3/4 by 15-1/4 length, width and depth
respectively. The hose shall not be bent or kinked to the extent it could
cause permanent defamation that would affect its performances A piece of
bound fiber cushioning material, size 1 by 9 by 12 inches, conforming to type
IV, Class A, of PPP-C-1120 shall be included in the box in a manner to restrict
free movement of and prevent damage to the contents. The box shall be closed
in accordance with method I or II of the appendix to PPP-B-636. The closed box
shall be sealed in a barrier bag conforming to type II, Class E, style 1 of
MIL-B-117. Included air volume shall be kept to a practicable minimum when
sealing the bag.
5.2.1.3 Multi-jet spray unit. The spray units, cleaned in accordance with
5.1, shall be sealed, one per bag, within polyethylene bags conforming to type
II, style 1 of PPP-B-26, size 6 by 6 inches with 4 mil wall thickness.
Included air volume shall be kept to a practicable minimum when sealing the
bags.
5.2.1.4 Check valve assembly. The assemblies, cleaned in accordance with
5.1, shall be sealed, one each per polyethylene bag conforming to type 11,
style 1, PPP-B-26, size 1-1/2 by 24 inches with a 4 mil wall thickness.
Included air volume shall be kept to a practicable minimum when sealing the
bags.
5.2.1.5 Static strap and clamp. The strap and clamp shall be sealed, one of
each, together in a polyethylene bag conforming to type II, style 1, of PPP-B-
26, size 4 by 6 inches with a 4 mil wall thickness. Included air volume shall

5.2.1.6 Closure
The closure plug shall be sealed, one each per poly-
plug.

The compressed gas cylinder shall be
packaged in a fiberboard box conforming to Grade W5c, style RSC of PPP-B-636.
Inside dimensions of the box in inches shall be 4-1/4 by 4-1/4 by 17 length,
width and depth respectively. A mailing tube measuring 2 inches in diameter by
2-3/8 inches long shall be used as a collar to surround the nipple assembly and
shall bear on the cylinder neck. As an alternate, the collar may be formed
from Ppp-p-291, style 1, type 111, material measuring 3 by 22 inches. The
