2.3 Order of precedence. In the event of a conflict between the text of this specification and the
references cited herein, the text of this specification shall take precedence.
3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Description. This specification covers a semitrailer mounted, 6000 gallon capacity water
distributor. The distributor shall be equipped with a diesel engine driven pump, remotely controlled by a
single operator from the truck-tractor cab. The semitrailer mounted distributor shall be certified as
complying with the Department of Labor (OSHA) Regulations and applicable DOT Standards and
Regulations in effect on the date of manufacture.
