specification, however, shall supersede applicable laws and
regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.
3.
REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Igniter.
The igniter shall comply with all requirements
specified on associated drawings and with all requirements specified
in applicable specificat ations.
3.2 Material. The constituent materials used in the
manufacture of the Eimite shall comply with the following
requirements:

3.3 Composition. The composition of the Eimite shall be as
specified in Table I when tested as specified in 4.5.1.

3.4 Moisture content. The moisture content of the Eimite at
the time of loading shall not exceed 0.4 percent when tested as
specified in 4.5.2.
3.5 Total volatiles. The total volatiles shall not exceed 0.70
percent when tested as specified in 4.5.3.
3.6 Bulk density. The bulk density shall be 0.45 + .05 when
tested as specified in 4.5.4.
3.7 134.5 centigrade (C) heat test. The powder shall not
change the color of normal methyl violet test paper to a salmon pink
