3.4.2 Oscillator, Radio Frequency O-562/AWW-l - The radio frequency oscillator
shall meet the following requirements:
3.4.2.l Function- The radio frequency oscillator shall supply r-f fuze charging signals
to the amplifier-power supply. The r-f signals, when amplified, shall meet the voltage and
frequency requirements of table I.
3.4.2.2 Form Factor - The dimensions of the radio frequency oscillator shall not ex-
ceed 3 1/2 inches wide by 4 5/16 inches high by 4 5/8 inches long.
3.4.2.3 Weight - The weight of the radio frequency oscillator shall not exceed 1 3/4
pounds.
3.4.2.4 Contents of Unit - The radio frequent y oscillator shall contain four oscillator
circuits with replaceable and interchangeable plug-in type tuned circuits. There shall be eight
plug-in units which shall provide the frequencies specified in table I.
3.4.2.5 Controls - The radio frequency oscillator shall contain four screwdriver adjusted
controls (one for oscillator circuit). The controls shall be used to adjust the amplitude of
the r-f signal outputs. The controls shall be located on the side of the radio frequency oscillator
and shall be labeled R1301 through R1304 respectively.
