4.5.4.4. Side load test of motor. The motor selected shall be
subjected to the side load test as specified in the applicable drawing.
The methods and equipment shall be as specified on the applicable drawing
using methods and equipment satisfactory to the contracting officer. If
any motor fails to comply with the requirement specified on the applicable
drawing, it shall be classed defective and the lot shall be rejected.
4.5.4.5 Disassembly and inspection (first article only). At the
conclusion of all first article tests, the motor shall be disassembled
and inspected for excessive wear and defects as follow:

damaged or burned field

This inspection shall be performed using procedures satisfactory to
the contracting officer. If any motor fails to comply with the
requirements of 3.7.1, it shall be classed defective.
