5.3.1 Special markings.  The following markings shall be required: Date
manufactured, voltage type designation, and lot numbers.
5.3.2 Normal marking.  In addition to the markings required by contract or
purchase order, unit packages and shipping containers shall be marked in
accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-129, including serial numbers,

6.1 Intended use.  Fuel gelled in these units constitutes the filler for
flame weapons such as fire bombs.  The unit described in this document is
intended primarily for use aboard aircraft carriers and at forward air bases.

6.3 First article.  when a first article inspection is required, the item
will be tested and should be a first article sample as specified in 4.4.1.
The first article should consist of one unit.  Arrangements for examinations
and test approval of the documents first article shall be specified in the
contract or purchase order.
6.4 Solution A and Solution B.  Solution A is a proprietary product.
Solution A and Solution B are procurable through the Western Company of North
America, Research Division, 2201 North Waterview Parkway, Richardson, TX
75080.
6.5 Changes from previous issues.  Asterisks are not used in this revision
to identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the
extensiveness of the changes.
