4.4.3.4 Rope. The end items shall be examined for the defects listed in
table V. The lot size shall be expressed in terms of ropes. The sample unit
shall be on rope. The inspection level shall be III and the AQL, espressed in
terms of defect per hundred units, shall be 0.25 for major defects and 4.0 for
total (major and minor combined) defects.
