Shipping containers. The sample unit shall be one shipping container fully
packaged. The inspection level shall be S-2 and the AQL, expressed in terms of
defects per hundred units, shall be 2.5.

PACKAGING
5.1 Preservation.
Preservation Shall be level A or Commercial,
specified
(see 6.2) .
5.1.1 Level A preservation.
5.1.1.1 Lowering d e v i c e , complete. The Carrying case assembly,
assembly, and governor assembly of each lowering device shall be compactly
folded or arranged as applicable. The governor shall be prevented from having
metal--to-metal contact with the attached snap hook and linking pin components by
means of cushioning material. Prior to folding the carrying case, the record
card and operator's manual shall be placed in the log record and manual pocket
inside the carrying case. The rope shall be lap or accordion folded in manner
