The number of stitches per bartack shall be based

3.5 Attachment and connections.

shall be as specified on drawings 68A73H6 and 62Al19D1. Bladder and baffles
shall be as specified in drawings 68A73H12 and 68A73D19.

smaller than Size 4, and strung with twine, shall be securely tied to the left

belt-connecting assembly of the LPU-23B/P life preserver. The tag shall
contain the following information.

This life preserver shall not be used until
subjected to the calendar inspection require-
ments of NAVAIR 13-1-6.1, Aviation-Crew
Systems Manual.
3.5.7 Patches attaching Items and protective covers. Patches, attaching
Items and protective covers shall be in accordance with drawings 68A73D8,
975AS118 and 975AS119, respectively.
3.5.8 Beaded Handle Inflation Assembly. Beaded handle inflation
assemblies conforimg to MIL-H-85478 and Dug 975AS121 shall be provided for
each compartment of the inflation assembly.
3.6 Dimensions. The dimensions of the life preserver, components, and the
casing and components shall be as specified in the specified applicable
drawings, Including 975AS103, 975AS11O, 975AS112 and 975AS200.
3.7 Color. The color of the life preserver, casing, and components shall
be as specified in the applicable drawings.
