1/ The sample size shall be based upon the applicable sample size code
letter
corresponding to the specified level of MIL-STD-105.
2/ These inspections shall be performed in sequence. The operation
(carbon
dioxide) Inspection shall be performed first, then the buoyancy inspection
(when required) and then the leakage inspection. The results of the
inspection shall be identifiable by the assigned serial numbers which
shall
be marked on the life preserver as specified in 3.8.2.
3/ Pressure inspection may be performed at any time prior to final assembly
of the life preserver.
