Table XIII-Sampling for routine tests.
4.3.2 Inspection of repair parts. - All motor repair parts shall be subjected to the in-process inspection
required by 4.3.1.1 to ascertain that the materials and workmanship are in accordance with the applicable
specification and that they conform fully to the approved drawings (see appendix I). This inspection shall de-
termine if the repair parts are exact duplicates of those used in the motor.
4.3.3 Tests. - Routine and periodic tests shall be in accordance with the applicable tests specified in
table XIV. Vertical motors with sleeve or oil lubricated ball bearings shall be tested in the vertical position.
4.3.3.1 Tests reports and records. - Records of periodic tests, verified and attested by the government
inspector, shall be included on and made a part of the finished drawings of the motor.
