This field shall be used for all sheet
numbers of a document containing one or
more complex sheet numbers or requiring
supplementary identification; i.e.,

statement code
See MIL-STD-1806. The distribution
statement code letter (A, B, C, D, E, F or
X) of the document identified in columns 3-

The indication that the Government does or
does not have unlimited rights to the data
shown on the microfilm image is annotated
in this field. See the Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) subpart 227.4 - Rights in
data and copyrights for an explanation of
these requirements.
An "L" for limited
rights must be punched in this field when
the contractor has proprietary rights to
the data being submitted to the Government.
A "U" for unlimited rights must be punched
if "L" is not applicable.
