4.5.6.2 Premature arming; premature detonation; early self
destruct. For purposes of this test, the following terms are
defined:
a.
Premature arming is defined as arming of the S&A assy
(evidenced by actuation of piston actuator) before the
minimum S&A arming time specified on Dwg. 12624467.
Premature detonation is defined as detonation of the

mine (S&A armed) occuring before the minimum
electronic arm time specified on Dwg. 12624467.
Early self destruct is defined as detonation of the
c.
mine (S&A armed) occuring at or after the minimum
electronic arm time specified on Dwg. 12624467, but
before being functioned by A.D.
PACKAGING
5.
5.1 Preservation and Packaging
5.1.1 Level A. (Fiberboard sleeve) The mines shall be
preserved and packaged in accordance with Dwg. 12624515.
5.1.2 Level A. (Plastic sleeve) The mines shall be preserved
and packaged in accordance with Dwg. 9333791.
5.2 Packing
5.2.1 Level A. (Fiberboard sleeve)
Packing shall be in
accordance with Dwg 12624514.
5.2.2 Level A.
(Plastic sleeve)
Packing shall be in
accordance with Dwg
9243805.
5.3 Marking
5.3.1 Level A. Marking shall be in accordance with Dwgs.
(9333791 and 9243805) or (12624515 and 12624514) as applicable.
5.4 Unitization
5.4.1 Level A. Unitization of mines as packed in 5.2.1 or
5.2.2 shall be in accordance with Dwg. 19-48-4116/95M-20PA1002
(DARCOM Ammo Center).
5.5 Packing.
