rotated clockwise approximately 180 degrees with the azimuth
control knob, stopping with the 3200 mil mark on the index.
Counterclockwise and clockwise torque values shall be obtained at
the 3200 mil position in the same manner as that detailed for the
O mil position. Extreme care must be taken in the design and
operation of the test equipment to assure that not even the
slightest movement be imparted to the scale in the same
direction, as the torque is being measured, as this could result
in erroneous readings. If all four torque values do not equal or
exceed the minimum value specified in paragraph 3.8.4.1, the
sightunit shall be rejected.

6.1 Intended use. The Mount, Telescope, 9360169, is a
component of Sightunit, M64A1. The mount introduces measured
azimuth and elevation readings to Elbow Telescope, 9360257. The
sightunit is used with the U.S. Army mortar systems.
