If it can be determined that the battery has not been
activated, the item shall be classed as a hazardous dud unless
it can also be determined that the S&A has not armed, the
safety pin can bve fully inserted back.
4.5.3.2 Records of tests. A record shall be made for each
mine tested and shall include an accounting for the defects listed
in 4.4.2.24 or below as applicable. In addition, the record shall
include malfunctions, actual munition functioning times including
early functions? sensor deployment of each munition,
anti-disturbance and breakwire functioning performance units which
fail to function on first attempt, etc, and any other pertinent
data. A copy of the test results for each lot shall be forwarded
to the address specified in 6.6. The lot shall be rejected if any
one of the following occurs:
Any premature firing burst occurs (see 4.5.7.1).

b. Any shorting bar is not completely removed or sheared or
any battery ball is not completely depressed.
c. Any munition functions (or is capable of functioning)
after the maximum time has elapsed (Hazardous dud).
