(g) Power Supply output voltages
Self-Test - The equipment shall be capable of
3.5.1.12.2
performing an interruptive self-test cycle at all positions of the
channel selector switch. The self-test cycle shall be initiated.
from the Control, the front of the Receiver-Transmitter, and by
remote signal, and shall be completed in 22 seconds or less. The
self-test function shall provide sufficient testing of the TACAN
set to assure a probability of at least 95% of correct detection
and isolation of the malfunction to the faulty Weapons Replaceable
Assembly (WRA). Upon completion of the self-test cycle, a visual
indication of equipment status (GO/NO-GO) shall be provided at the
Control. An equipment `NO-GO" status shall be continuously
displayed at the RT front panel until a successful Self-Test cycle
is completed.
REC Mode - Initiation of the interruptive self-

test cycle shall inject an RF signal with forty percent combined
modulation at not more than -70 dBm level to the antenna input
terminals. The azimuth indicator shall display a bearing between
0 and 8. -A clear unambiguous identity tone shall be applied to
the pilots headset. If the azimuth indication is not between 0
and 8, or the identity tone output is not present, "REC NO-GO"
shall be indicated.
T/R Mode - Initiation of the interruptive self-

test cycle shall inject an RF signal with forty percent combined
modulation at not more than -70 dBm level to the antenna input
terminals. An indication of "T/R -GO" shall be obtained under all
of the following conditions:
Azimuth bearing between 0 and 8.
(a)
Range between 1.6 nm and 2.0 nm
(b)
Power output greater than 750 watts
(c)
Bearing and Range acquisition times less
(d)
than 3 seconds
Identity tone output present
(e)
Range memory greater than 5 seconds,
