MIL-N-31207A(AS)
reading error, is "permissible when the equipment is loaded with
three ID-663 (other than ID-663C) indicator instruments in
parallel.  The range of the  O output is 0 to 360 degrees and the
scale factor shall be 1 /l .  The analog bearing output shall be
in synchro format in accordance with MIL-S-20708.
3.5.7.8
Analog Range Output - The equipment shall
provide analog range outputs for display on any combination of
three ID-663/U, ID-1013A, or AQU-4A Indicators.  The analog range
output shall consist of three synchro outputs in accordance with
MIL-S-20708; one each synchro output for units, tens, and
hundreds.
Course Deviation Output - The equipment shall
3.5.7*9
provide course deviation outputs from a manually selected course
to or from a beacon for display on from one to three ID-387/ARN
Course Indicators, and shall be a current type output.  Course
deviation sensitivity and centering shall be adjustable from the
front panel of the Receiver-Transmitter so that deviations from
2.5 to 15 will provide 450 microampere into a constant load
impedance of 333 ohms.
To-From Flag - The equipment shall provide
3.5.7.10
outputs to operate the To-From Flag in the ID-387/ARN Course
Indicator.
Bearing Flag Alarm - The flag alarm of the ID-
3.5.7.11
387/ARN shall be actuated and the flag shall disappear when
reliable signals above minimum usable are received.  Upon loss of
signal, the flag shall reappear at expiration of the memory
period.  The flag shall be in view in the absence of 15 Hz
signals.  Flag operation is also required when the percentage of
modulation of the 15 Hz and 135 Hz signal is below the point where
adequate phase stability between the two signals can be
maintained.  Flag operation shall be compatible with the bearing
accuracy requirements of the equipment.
Distance Flag Alarm - The equipment shall be
3.5.7.12
capable of operating the f lag alarm of associated indicators to
show either presence or absence of an adequate signal except
during the memory period.
Identity Tone Output - The identity tone output
3.5.7.13
shall be a 1350 Hz signal.  The output shall be greater than 100
milliwatts when loaded with a 600 ohm resistive load.  The maximum
output impedance shall be 600 ohms.  The audio output shall not
vary more than 3 dB over an RF input signal range of -90 dBm to 0
dBm.  Accidental shorting or opening of the output circuit
external to the equipment shall not cause damage to the equipment
or render other functions of the equipment inoperative.
3.5.7.14
Outputs for Digital Computer - The Converter
shall provide station number, distance and bearing outputs in
42.
