3.5.1.4.1
C o n t e n t s - Receiver-transmitter RT-1030/
ARN-105 shall, in addition to modules of paragraph 3.5.1.4,
contain the following:
( 1 ) A basic module-supporting double-walled
s t r u c t u r e , containing a harness and acting
as a cooling plenum.

i n s t r u m e n t phase.
A tone transformer to isolate the ground on
the identity tone output of the Range Decoder
Module.
(4) W i r i n g and electronic components performing
t h e electrical function of Mount MT-1729/
ARN-52(W),
MT-1729A/ARN-52(V),
MT-3680A/
ARN-52(V) or MT-3952/ARN-2(V).
(5) In addition to (1) through (4) above, components
n e c e s s a r y to achieve interchangeability in form,
fit and function (with additional capabilities)
with the RT-471/ARN-65, and requiring no
m o d i f i c a t i o n s to aircraft wiring or instrumen-
tation.

F a i l u r e s (MTBF) - The modules shall have the following listed mean
(operating time between failures when tested and accepted as outlined
u n d e r the requirements of 4.4.3.2.
