Serial Data Input - Serial data input shall be of
3.5.3.4.5
waveform and synchronization as depicted in Figure 9. Input shall be on
a common line for all display sections.  Steering (directing) and clocking
shall be according to Paragraph 3.5.3.4.3.
The Serial Data Input Word Structure, and Digital
Displays II, III, and IV shall be as listed.  Bit "0" shall be sent out
first.

Discrete Inputs - Individually dedicated logic level

discrete inputs shall be provided for MALF and CMPTR BIT status indicators.
(1) MALF Command - An input command to energize the MALF lamp
shall only illuminate the lamp of interest.
(2) CMPTR Command - An input command to energize the CMPTR lamp
shall illuminate both the MALF and CMPTR lamps. The CMPTR
input shall be biased to the logic 1 state. Logic levels
shall be as listed:
Logical "1" = Light(s) illuminated
Logical "O" = Light(s) extinguished
Logic Signal Outputs - Signal outputs shall be

unbalanced single-ended logic signals on dedicated output lines. Logic
levels shall be referenced to logic ground as listed.
Logical "1" = 2.4 to 5.5 VDC
