4.5,4.5 Circuit board assembly test procedure.
a.
Depress READY light once.  It shall come on dim.
Depress again.  It shall come on in full brightness.
b.  Activate the proximity switch by moving a metal object
not more than 1/8 inch from the sensor.  Observe READY light and
compare with requirements specified in 3.6.5.
4.5.4.6 Circuit board assembly test procedure.  Disconnect
transmitter coil and activate proximity switch.  Observe READY light
and FAIL light and compare with requirements specified in 3.6.6.
4.5.4.7 Circuit board assembly test procedure.
Turn the MODE
switch to "OFF".  Connect the Transmitter Assembly to J2 on the
electronics box.  Turn the MODE switch to "NORM".  observe the READY
light and FAIL light and compare with requirements specified in
3.6.7.
4.5.4.8 Circuit board assembly test procedure.  Disconnect the
Sine Wave Generator.  Connect the oscilloscope common lead to
terminal TB3-4 and the vertical input lead to terminal TB3-5.  Set
up scope for negative trigger, V to vertical input at 2 v/cm and
time at fifty (50) microseconds/cm.  Activate the proximity switch
by moving a metal object not more than 1/8 inch from the sensor.
Observe READY light, FAIL light and oscilloscope and compare
observations with requirements specified in 3.6.8.
4.5.4.9 Circuit board assembly test procedure.
a.  Turn the MODE switch to "OFF".
Disconnect the
oscilloscope.
Connect the sine wave generator to TB 3-1(-) and TB
b.
3-11(+).
Set
c.  Turn the MODE switch to "extended" position.
generator to 1200 HZ.  Turn on sine wave generator slowly until
ready light is on.  Use a multimeter to measure and observe the
requirements specified in 3.6.9.
4.5.4.10 Circuit board assembly test procedure.  Disconnect the
sine wave generator.  Connect the oscilloscope common lead to
terminal TB 3-4 and the vertical input lead to terminal TB 3-5.  Set
up scope for positive trigger.  vertical input 5 volts\cm. and time
fifty (50) microseconds\cm.  Activate the proximity switch.  Use a
multimeter to measure and observe for the requirements specified in
3.6.10.
