Performance requirements and Product  characteristics.
3.3
Unless
specified otherwise, the pumps shall satisfy the following performance
requirements when tested as specified in Section 4.
3.3.1
Liquid  The pump shall meet the performance requirements
of 3.3.2 using Otto fuel type II, WS-2106, or a 5 percent solution of
soluble oil in tap water.
3.3.2
Flow rates and pressure values.  The pump when driven at 3880
10 revolutions per minute (rpm) and limited to flow rates defined in
Table I shall be capable of producing the respective output pressures
listed in Table I when operated at the corresponding bias pressure.
TABLE I
OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS
3.3.3
Leakage .  The pump shall show no sign of external leakage of
working fluid while operating.
3.4
Environmental requirements.  Unless otherwise specified, the
pump shall be capable of conforming to the performance requirements and
product characteristics of the specification after being exposed to the
environmental conditions specified in this section.  For definitions of
ready, operating, and non-operating see 6.3.1, 6.3.2, and 6.3.3.
Vibration, ready condition.  The pump, mounted as shown in
3.4.1
Figure 1, shall be capable of meeting the performance requirements after
being subjected, in the resay condition, to the vibrations defined in
Table II.  The pump shall be vibrated for 180 minutes each in its longi-
tudinal axis and in two mutually perpendicular transverse axes at any
temperature within the range of -45 F to +140 F.  Vibration is defined
in 6.3.4.
