MIL-STD-331, Test 101, or with the alternate test procedure described in
4 . 5 . 1 . 3 . 1 . After shock, the primer shall pass only the continuity and resistance
test, 4. 6.1.1 and the capacitor discharge functioning test, 4.6.1.4.2.
4.5. 1. 3.1 Shock, alternate test procedures. This is an alternate proce -
dure that may be performed in place of MIL-STD-331, Test 101, specimen in

lands squarely on a two-inch planking supported by a minimum of three inches of
cone rete. The drop height shall be a minimum of 5 feet. The fixture, w ith
p r i m e r s , shall then be dropped an additional 20 times in such a manner that the
fixture lands on one of the bottom edges at an angle of approximately 45 degrees
relative to the planking. The angle drops shall be made such that each of the
bottom, edges receives five impacts.
4.6 Quality conformance inspection. Samples selected using the plans
