3.3.3 The recording component panel shall conform to the requirements of MIL-P-
3.3.4 The recording component panel shall be wired as specified in BUWEPS
Drawing 2436239.
3.35 When tested as specified in 4.4.4, all oscillograph channels shall perform
as specified therein.
3.3.6 The operating life of the recorder shall be predicated on the life require-
ments specified in NIIL-O-23560/ and MIL-P-2381 O for their respective components.
3.4 Environmental requiremements
3.4.1 Vibration. The recorder, less pack and packaging and mounted as specified
in 4.5.1, shall be capable of withstanding vertical vibrations for a period of 3 hours
at a frequency of 60 cycles per second and a double amplitude (peak-to-peak) of
0.016 plus or minus 0.002 inch, and thereafter shall show no damage and shall meet
the performance requirements and product characteristics of this specification.
3.4.2 Temperature and humidity.  The recorder, less pack and packaging, shall
be capable of withstanding a temperature of plus 160 degrees F plus or minus 5 degrees
F, 90 to 95 percent relative humidity, for a period fof 24 hours, in accordance with
the test procedures specified in 4.5.2, and thereafter shall show no corrosion or
damage and shall meet the performance requirements and product characteristics of this
specification.
3.4.3 Storage life.  When level A preservation, packaging, and packing, as de-
fined in 6.2.1 is specified, the recroder shall show no damage and shall meet all
the performance and product requirements of this specification after being stored for
a period of five years, in the packaging and packing specified, under temperature
and humidity conditions as follows:
Minus 65 degrees F to plus 16 0 degrees F
3.4.3.1 Temperature:
(Minus 54 degrees C to plus 71 degrees C)
3.4. 3.2 Humidity: 90 to 95 percent relative
3.5 Cleanup. Prior to and after final assembly, all parts, components, and the
assembly shall be thoroughly cleaned of loose, spattered, or excess solder, metal
chips, and other foreign matter, Burrs and sharp edges as well as rosin flash
shall be removed.
