3.1.2.1.5 Fire control. The RMS shall provide rocket fuze/
warhead type selection and fuze setting functions. The RMS shall
have the capability to set aerial burst and penetration fuzes
either with or without a fire control computer on board the
helicopter. Computer range-will be used only if automatic range
mode is selected. If no fire control computer is aboard, the time
of flight will be determined by stored conversion data from a
range input. This conversion data shall be based on the 60 knot
curve shown in Figure 2. If a fire control computer is aboard,
automatic range mode may be selected and the computer will furnish
a time-of-function input with which to set fuze times.
