4.3. 3.3.1 The two hundred forty (240) signal assemblies
selected in 4.3.3.2.1 shall be forwarded to the Proving Ground
for this test. The lot shall be rejected if a Critical defect
occurs or if eight (8) or more Major defective are found (see
Table III).
4.3. 3.3.2 The eighty (80) signal assemblies selected in
4.3. 3.2.2 shall be forwarded to the Proving Ground for this
test . The lot shall be rejected If a Critical defect occurs
or if four (4) or more Major defectives are found (see Table III).
4.3.3,4 Air leakage test (see 3.6) - Major defect - Code No.
07025. - This test shall be performed 100 percent in accordance
with the procedure specified in 4.4.4. All assemblies that fall
to comply with the requirement shall be classed defective and
removed from the lot.
4.3.3.5 Static test of star assembly (see dwg. 8847463). -
The star assemblies shall be tested and observed for the defects
as classified in Table IV.

4.3.3.5.1 Beginning with the first lot produced and con-
tinuing until three (3) consecutive lots have complied with the
l acceptance criteria specified, eighty (80) star assemblies of
each color shall be selected from each lot for test in accordance
with the procedure specified in 4.4.5. The lot shall be rejected
if five (5) or more defective are found.
4.3.3.5.2 After three consecutive lots have complied with
the acceptance criteria of 4.3.3.5.1, thrity-two (32) star as-
