Frame type chassis furnished with the main frame longitudinal
members of the continuous type. Frameless type chassis
furnished with articulating elevating arms locating the kingpin
and running gear under the body within industry tolerances.
Suspension.

Unless otherwise specified, provide flexibly sprung, suspension
of the equalizing type having min. 22,000 lb. per axle rating.
When specified (see 6.2), provide an air suspension system
having min. 20,000 lb. per axle rating.
Provide single (1-axle), tandem (2-axle), or tandem (3-axle) as
specified herein and in the applicable dump semitrailer
specification sheet.
Provide stabilized ride for loaded semitrailers with a high center
of gravity without hazardous handling and provide soft,
non-damaging ride for empty semitrailers. Provide suspension
to protect semitrailer from damaging shock and vibration.
Multi-axle suspensions having min. 8-in. of both front to rear
and diagonal walk axle articulation. Installation and ajustment
of suspension per both axle and suspension mfgrs.

When specified (see 6.2) provide air-spring type intended for
on-off road use.
