II, class E, style 1 of MIL-B-117. The box shall be free of any projections or
sharp edges or corners that could rupture or damage the barrier bag. Included
air volume shall be kept to a practicable minimum when the bag is sealed.
5.2.1.3 Dummy pack and gasket.  The dummy pack shall be a fiberboard box con-
forming to style RSC, type CF, class weather-resistant, variety SW, grade W5c
or W6c of PPP-3-636, having inside dimensions of 14 by 1-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches
length, width and depth respectively.  The-box shall be closed in accordance
with the appendix of PPP-B-636 for weather-resistant boxes.  The gasket (Draw-
ing 116-3-112) , cleaned and dried in accordance with 5.1, shall be placed
within a form fitting polyethylene bag which shall either be closed by heat
sealing or folded and taped.  The bag shall then be placed within the compart-
ment for the pressure gauge assembly of the wood shipping container (Drawing
116-3-111).
5.2.1.4  Agent transfer tube assembly.  The tube, cleaned in accordance with
5.1, shall have the open end of P/N D150-1-11-5-l-B closed by means of closure
conforming to MIL-C-5501/7.
5.2.1.5  Technical publications.  Applicable technical publications shall be
sealed within a polyethylene bag, size 12 by 14 inches, conforming to type II,
style 1 of PPP-B-26.  Included air volume shall be kept to a practicable mini-
mum when bag is sealed.
5.2.1.6 Adapter (P/N 2021-4-4S).  The adapter shall be unit packed in accor-
dance with method IC-1 of MIL-P-116, using cushioning confirming to PPP-P-291.
The cushioning shall be not larger than necessary to provide full protection to
the item, and shall be taped in place using PPP-T-76 tape.  The cushioned item
shall then be placed in a polyethylene bag conforming to style 1, type 1, class
C of MIL-B-117 and heat sealed.  The bag shall be of sufficient size to hold
the cushioned item with a minimum of' overage.
5.2.1.7 Nipple (Drawing 150-1-1). Unit packing shall be as specified in
5.2.1.6.
5.2.1.8  Adapter assembly.  The adapter assembly shall be installed on the
agent transfer tube assembly and its open end closed by means of closure
conforming to MIL-C-5501/7.
5.2.l.9 Filter assembly.  The filter assembly (Drawing 116-3-113) shall be
placed within a form fitting polyethylene bag which shall either be closed by
heat sealing or folded and taped.  The bag shall then be placed within the com-
partment for the pressure check gauge of the wood shipping container, Drawing
115-3-111.
Unit packing shall be in accordance with 5.2.1.
