Test Apparatus.
For all starter/APU and component tests, the

test apparatus shall be such as to insure that the reported data
will have a steady state accuracy of 1 percent of the maximum
rated value, except that temperature shall be accuracte to 5F
and weight shall be accurate to 0.2 percent.
For verification and acceptance testing, a

flywheel shall be used to load the output shaft.  The flywheel
shall have a polar moment of inertia of 200
4.4.2 Instrumentation.
Instrumentation shall be provided during
verification and acceptance tests to observe or determine the
following data as minimum:
Output shaft speed
Output shaft torque
Inlet air temperature
Inlet air pressure
Exhaust gas total temperature
Exhaust gas total pressure
External surface temperature (4 locations)
Fuel inlet pressure
Fuel flow rate
Oil consumption
Oil temperature(s)
Gas generator speed
Starter voltage
Starter current
Generator voltage
Generator current
Generator frequency
*NOTE:
These items need not be instrumented during the
acceptance test unless specifically required to
determine acceptance performance.
4.4.2.1 Recording Equipment.  Automatic recording equipment
shall be used during those tests regarding evaluation of time
versus starter or component variable.
4.5 Tests.  The tests are complete when the starter/APU is
operating satisfactorily at the end of the tests herein,
recalibration does not reveal excessive performance deterioration
and teardown inspections do not disclose parts failures or
